Kiyaana has been a lifelong dancer, but has discovered her true love in Raqs Sharqi, the "Dance of the East", or bellydance. She began studying bellydance over ten years ago and has warmly embraced the music, culture, and history of this Middle Eastern dance form. Instructors that have helped her grow as a dancer and have influenced her style greatly include Aziza, Sahra Saeeda, Scheherezade, Karim Nagi, Latifa, Kawakib, Yasmina Ramzy, and Faten Salama.

Kiyaana was very recently a featured performer at Nora Taste of Lebanon in Gainesville, VA, Nora in Richmond, VA and both Aladin locations in Fredericksburg.  Her more-than-three-hundred performances include weddings, various private parties, and restaurants in Virginia. Kiyaana was also a regular dancer at Laziza Lebanese Restaurant in Fredericksburg and The Phoenician in Richmond, VA (both are now closed). Kiyaana has also been an invited performer at shows produced by the Women of Selket, Bellydance Superstars (March 2012), Nadia of Suffolk, Ravia of Richmond, and Latifa. She was the featured bellydancer for the University of Mary Washington Arab Culture Night in March 2015.

Pairing her love of the dance with her certified teaching skills was a natural next step in 2009. Kiyaana is a belly dance fitness instructor as well as a bellydance-for-performance teacher with classes in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She also created BellydanceDownloads.com as a way to share her discoveries in the area of music for bellydancing.

In December 2012, Kiyaana was named the recipient of the Tiraz Dance Network Aliya Quinn Middle Eastern Dance Scholarship.
